FIRST TIME AT GAALS?
During your time with one of the GAALS doctors, we will talk to you about your gynaecological, general medical and healthcare history, and find out why you came to visit. We will then conduct a pelvic examination and chat about your options. We offer a range of services to help you understand your issues, and discover a solution together.
Please bring these things to your first appointment at GAALS:
- Medicare card
- Health fund information
- Referral letter
- Copies of any relevant investigations - blood tests, ultrasounds, x-rays
See our list of Frequently Asked Questions about appointments, surgery and billing.
We operate at Greenslopes Private Hospital. Find Greenslopes Private Hospital on Google Maps.
If you’re scheduled for surgery, we will fill out the consent form when we discuss the procedure with you. After your surgery has been booked, please fill out the admission form for Greenslopes Private Hospital, which can be found here.
You can find more information about the admission process and hospitalisation for common gynaecological procedures on the hospital website.
GAALS is a non-bulk billing specialist medical practice, so we require full payment at the time of your consultation. Further information is in our Billing Policy.
We are committed to your privacy and confidentiality. We collect information necessary for you to access our services.
